Water Aerobics
This class is an aerobic workout complete with warm up, a 20
minute aerobic routine and cool down in the water, there is less
chance of strained muscles. Also, as with the AFAP and Water
Aerobics classes, all exercises are done in the shallow end of the
pool - you don't even get your hair wet if you don't want to!

Arthritis Water Exercise
This program is designed specifically for those people who may have
arthritis or other physical limitations. It is also a good
course to use for physical rehabilitation after surgery (with
doctor's permission). Instructors are trained by the Arthritis
Foundation in exercise designed to increase joint mobility, increase
muscle tone and flexibility. This class is offered Tuesdays
and Thursdays at 11:00am-11:45am. Monthly $30 adults, $25
seniors.

Home School Swimming Lessons
The YWCA will provide swimming lessons taught by Red Cross Certified
Instructors for your Physical Education curriculum for Home School
families. Along with this we have open family time for
families who want to enjoy the exercises and afternoon activities
with their children.

Lessons for Adults, Teens and Children: Schedule through the
Aquatic Director Wellness Schedule:
MSRM - SilverSneakers
We do a variety of exercises in chairs, standing and
sitting. Rubber bands are used for flexibility and joint mobility
and light weights are used for muscle tone and endurance. We have
music to go along with your movement. This class is highly
recommended for people with arthritis, being overweight,
fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, bursitis and multiple sclerosis.
