After School care brings the vision of the YWCA –the empowerment of women and their families and the elimination of racism– to our youngest members.

Every child in the YWCA After School Care program enjoys enrichment activities and gains appreciation of social, racial, and cultural diversity. The program is open to school-aged youth who will enjoy:

Other school pick ups can be arranged through our office. *When fewer than 3 students are enrolled from the same school in the program full time, there will be a $5.00 transportation surcharge for each child.

Throughout After School Care youth will discover and learn to appreciate other cultures through games, stories, and crafts. Youth and Staff will learn from each other.
Basic Academics will be reinforced using the everyday world as a classroom. Youth will also engage in non-violent play and practice problem solving skills.

The High Point YWCA After School Care is conveniently located off Main Street map and provides affordable childcare for working parents. After School Care offers extended hours of 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Teacher Workdays following the Guildford County School Schedule.

Special Features include afternoon snack, homework help, low cost field trips, swimming and sibling discounts:

$10.00 After School Care Registration Fee
$40.00 per week First Child
$35.00 per week each additional sibling
$12.50 a day for Part Time Rate
