  The YWCA Celebrates Week Without Violence

“Embracing New Phases of Life:  Pathways to End Domestic Violence” - Saturday, October 11, 8am-2pm
This is a domestic violence awareness program, will be held this Saturday.  Program includes presentations from Lindsey Lahr, Family Services High Point Court Advocate, Enjonae Anderson, Licensed Professional Counselor of Mended Hearts Counseling and Recovery Solutions, Vendors, Resource information, and much more.  A light lunch will be provided. Women’s Self-Defense Class – SAFE:  
Surviving A  Fighting Encounter will teach you basic survival and self-defense techniques.  Classes will be held for 8 weeks beginning, Monday, October 13  thru Monday,  November 3, 2014 @ 6pm-7:30 pm.  Each class is only $5.00 or you may pay $40.00 for all eight sessions.  This class is for adults, ages 18 years and above.  A waiver form must be completed by participants.

October 15, 1 pm - 2 pm

Crafts & Chat - This is an informal fellowship with those who enjoy making crafts and have experienced the death of a loved one. Crafts & Chat meets the last Wednesday of each month @ 1pm-3pm.
