YWCA Awards Beverly Burton Administrative Professional of
the Year
Over
240 individuals came to the Administrative
Professionals Appreciation Luncheon on
April 23rd
at High Point Country Club.
The YWCA Board of Directors and staff would like to
congratulate the 2008 Administrative Professional of
the year, Beverly Burton. For 19 years Beverly has
been the office manager of Covenant United Methodist
Church in High Point where she is seen as an
irreplaceable part of the church staff and community.
Beverly oversees a broad scope of the church's
functions both internally and within the community.
She coordinates the operation of the facilities and is
considered a vital part of the welfare of the Staff of
48 plus individuals. Beverly is the mastermind behind
all communication, including their website,
newsletters, mailings, phone tree and a variety of
other resources. Beverly’s motherly spirit makes her
the special person she is. No one goes unnoticed each
person who walks into her office feels as though their
